There are no new ideas, just new presidential candidates. The American Museum of the Moving Image's The Living Room Candidate is a fascinating look at the history of American presidential campaign commercials, from Adlai Stevenson and Dwight D. Eisenhower in 1952 through to this year's Bush and Kerry throwdown.

Too bad animated ads have declined since the 1950s, though. I might be more inclined to watch.
